Our beginner's shaving brush is handmade with natural boars hair for a stiff agitation to lather shaving soap. High quality and guaranteed to last for over a year, use this brush to graduate to a higher appreciation for the traditional shaving. Boars hair is known for its ability to endure active use as well as water resistance, making it great for the motions used in lathering shaving soap while still gentle on the face. This brush is intended for beginners while pairing great with our soap and being beautifully handmade, and we want you to fall in love with the ceremony of shaving so much that you eventually consider higher quality brushes that redefines the craft for you. Soak your shaving brush in hot water for about 30 seconds and squeeze out about half the water from the brush. Begin slowly swirling the brush against the surface of the soap in the tin can and work up to a faster speed. Within seconds, a lather will begin foaming. After about 30-45 seconds, a large amount of cream will be created, and the brush can transfer the cream to your face. Apply to face evenly. Repeat if more cream is desired. Experiment with different amounts of water to tailor your shave the way you like it. Pour any excess water from tin can and allowing to air dry before closing with lid is recommended for maximum soap life.
